ExchangeFacts collects as little personal data as possible. This page explains what may be received technically or through direct contact and how it is used.

Who is responsible?
ExchangeFacts.com is editorially operated under the name Nightdesk. For privacy questions and requests, contact [email protected].
What data is processed?
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device and security data may temporarily appear in Cloudflare server and security logs.
- Usage statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate traffic without advertising profiles or analytics cookies.
- Local preferences: region, currency and some calculator settings may be stored only in your browser.
- Contact: when you email, your address, message and attachments are processed to answer and handle corrections or tips.
- External services: Google Fonts may receive technical connection data when fonts load. Exchanges and other linked websites apply their own privacy policies.
Purposes and legal bases
Technical data is used to keep the site secure and available. Aggregate statistics help improve it. Email is processed to handle your request. The legal bases are legitimate interests, steps taken at your request and, where applicable, legal obligations.
Retention and sharing
Data is not sold. Service providers receive only what is needed for hosting, security and statistics. Technical logs are retained no longer than needed for security and operation. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to respond, document corrections or meet legal obligations.
Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the EEA using safeguards described in their own terms.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Email [email protected]. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.

This policy is updated when the site or its services change. The date above identifies the current version.
